Formed at the Royal Northern College of Music, chamber ensemble Interference Trio performs new music, which is both modern and cutting edge but accessible to all. Working with both student and established composers from across the UK in creating this progressive new soundworld of classical/contemporary music. The trio can include Andy Scott, Graham Coatman, Geoff Eales as collaborating artists.

As far as we are aware there is only one other group of this kind in the UK. As a result there is very little repertoire, we therefore actively seek out composers to write for the group as mentioned above creating a progressive new sound of classical/contemporary music.

Repertoire includes music by composers such as: Jason Rebello, Astor Piazzolla, Andy Scott, Michael Nyman & many more...
